Location

The Villa is ideally situated, a 20 minute taxi ride from the Airport and a few minutes stroll to the secluded beaches of Bouka and Amboula Beach, both favourites of locals, where you will find a sprinkling of fish tavernas and restaurants.

For the nearest supermarket, turn right out of the villa for about 100 yards.

To find Bouka beach, take the beach road next to that supermarket. Along this road you will also find the Olde Vineyard, one of the best fish restaurants on the island where you can also enjoy live Zakynthan music every week.

For Amboula Beach, turn left out of the villa for 300 yards then walk through the grounds of the Zante Camping site. If you prefer a pool to the beach, you are welcome to use the site's freshwater pool - you will also find a mini market (open from 08.00 to 23:30), traditional Greek taverna and snack bar and an Internet cafe where you can send & collect your email.

The area around Villa Amboula is very unspoilt, and we recommend that you hire a car to see some of the charming villages close by, including Kypseli, Gerakari and Tragaki. You will find many tavernas along the cost road to Alykes.

When you need something livelier, the beach resort of Tsilivi is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk away. Beaches in this area are perfect for families, with golden, gently shelving sands.

The island’s capital, Zante Town, is a 15 minute drive, and offers an abundance of shops, cafes & bars along its harbour and characterful side streets.
